SECTION 1 – GENERAL PROVISIONS AND SCOPE These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern the legal relationship between the operator of the Snout Atelier online store (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller" or "We") and the consumer (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer" or "You").

By using our website and submitting an order, you agree to these Terms. The Services are exclusively intended for consumers for personal use and not for commercial resale.

SECTION 2 – CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT AND ORDERS The presentation of products in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the checkout button (e.g., "Order with obligation to pay"), you are submitting a binding offer to purchase the goods in your shopping cart.

The purchase contract is only legally concluded when we send you an order confirmation email or a notification of payment receipt. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of a technical error, unavailability of materials from our supplier, or suspected fraud. In such cases, all funds will be immediately refunded to you.

SECTION 3 – PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS All prices listed in our store are final. [Optional addition to choose from: Due to our small business status, VAT is not charged. / Prices include the applicable statutory value-added tax.]

Product prices do not include delivery costs. The shipping rate will be clearly calculated and displayed in the shopping cart before completing the order. Payments are processed through secure payment gateways. The full amount must be credited to our account before the order is sent to production.

SECTION 4 – DELIVERY TERMS AND PASSING OF RISK We work with premium partners for production and delivery (Print-on-Demand). Goods are usually produced and shipped within the timeframe stated for the specific product or in the order confirmation. The stated delivery times are approximate and may vary depending on production capacity and shipping companies.

Important (Passing of risk): In accordance with European consumer protection laws, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you only when you or a designated third party (other than the carrier) physically take possession of the delivered goods.

SECTION 5 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURN OF GOODS) As a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. Detailed information on the return procedure, including conditions, return addresses, and exceptions (e.g., for custom-made goods), is provided in our Return Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. When returning goods without giving a reason, the customer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

SECTION 6 – WARRANTY AND LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS We care deeply about the quality of our textiles and embroidery. All purchased products are covered by the statutory warranty period (usually 24 months in the EU) regarding manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper handling (e.g., failure to follow washing instructions), or intentional damage. In the event of a justified claim, you have the right to a free remedy (most often in the form of manufacturing and delivering a new, flawless piece).

SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All content on this website, in particular product designs, embroidery, logos, photographs, texts, and graphics, are protected by copyright and are the exclusive property of the Snout Atelier brand. Any copying, downloading, or commercial use of our designs and content without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited and will be legally prosecuted.

SECTION 8 – PRIVACY POLICY We process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling orders, performing the contract, and ensuring the operation of our store in accordance with the GDPR Regulation. Further information on how we protect your privacy, with whom we share data, and what your rights are can be found in our Privacy Policy.

SECTION 9 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ODR PLATFORM) In accordance with applicable EU regulations, we would like to inform you that the European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which is available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Consumers have the option to use this platform to resolve their disputes. Our email address for these purposes is: support@snoutatelier.com. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board; however, we will always strive to resolve any issue directly to your satisfaction.

SECTION 10 – FINAL PROVISIONS These Terms and all legal relations between you and us are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, unless excluded by stricter consumer protection regulations applicable in the country of your habitual residence. If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
